Physicians Premier ER in San Antonio opened its doors on Thursday, September 15, 2016. Located at 3154 SE Military Drive, Suite 103, Physicians Premier can take care of all adult and pediatric emergencies with compassionate care and personalized attention. Due to the growing demand for emergency care with a higher standard, this physician-owned and operated emergency medical facility will open additional San Antonio locations this year on Bulverde and Potranco Road. Patients can expect the same emergency medical services and professional level of care as traditional hospital-based emergency rooms, but with shorter wait times, and the availability of emergency board-certified doctors and staff, 24/7.
“We recognized that there was an unmet need when it comes to emergency care in San Antonio. There weren’t enough doctors to meet the needs of the working population in a timely manner,” said Dr. Lonnie Schwirtlich, one of Premier’s founders. “That’s why we decided to open these non-traditional emergency rooms in multiple locations. We want to modernize and improve the ER experience and bring efficient medical attention and treatment a little closer to home.”
